Dr. Angelov is a former member of the American Academy of Family Practice Physicians
as well as present the American Holistic Medical Association, American Naturopathic Medical Association. Former Diplomat American
Board of Family Practice and American Board of Holistic Medicine. Columnist of Integrative Medicine for general
population. Medical Director, cofounder of HealthKey.Co.
Dr. Angelov received his medical degree from St.Petersburgh Medical School in
St. Petersburgh, Russia with a specialty in Urology and Surgery. One of the main expertise of Dr. Angelov at that
time was pain management after surgery and relieve of chronic pain such as chronic prostatitis. Participating in
additional courses and fellowships of reflexology (acupuncture and acupressure) and most advense psychotherapy techniques he became a
renown specialist in this area. Dr. Angelov was a respected and prominent urologist and surgeon in the Soviet Union
for l0 years before making the difficult decision to begin a new life in the United States. Upon arrival to the
U.S., Dr. Angelov completed a Residency Program in Family Practice at North Shore University Hospital, Glen Cove,
New York. Being a Family Physician he had to help people with conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia,
back and neck pain. Self education along with different seminars and symposiums made him an expert in the field
of treating chronic pain. In 1999 he was personally trained by Dr. Sarno, Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine
of New York University School of Medicine.
Recently, Dr.Angelov established the Holistic Family Practice. Dr. Angelov's
practice differs from others because he advocates the use of a wide variety of alternative therapies including
acupressure, yoga, Tai-Chi, homeopathy, herbal remedies and a holistic approach to treatment.
Dr. Angelov believes it takes more than pills to bring a patient back to good
health... Counseling, nutritional guidance, practical exercise programs and possible behavioral modification. His
goal is to concentrate on the person as a whole.
